Oscar D’León, “El Faraón de la Salsa”, regresa con su nueva producción discográfica “Tranquilamente… Tranquilo”, en la que se escuchan nueve maravillosos temas que demuestran una vez más el porqué este intérprete ha sido uno de los mayores exponentes de este género musical de todos los tiempos.

El álbum, grabado en su totalidad en Puerto Rico, llega de la mano del reconocido productor Ángel “Cuco” Peña, y cuenta con la colaboración del mejor talento salsero de la Isla del Encanto como son Richie Ray, Rafi Torres, Pedro Guzmán, Ceferino Cabán, Cheíto Quiñónez, Luis “El Perico” Ortiz, Elías López y los integrantes del grupo NG2.

El primer sencillo de este álbum “Ni Frío Ni Calor”, compuesto por el mismo Oscar D’León, se encuentra sonando en las principales estaciones tropicales de Estados Unidos.

Otras composiciones inolvidables incluidas en el mismo son “El Papelito”, escrita por Mauricio Castillo, y “Hasta Que Vuelvas” por parte del reconocido autor colombiano Kike Santander.

Oscar D’León, salsero venezolano reconocido mundialmente también como “El Sonero del Mundo”, cuenta en su carrera con más de 74 álbumes, ha sido ganador del Latin GRAMMY® y nominado en 12 ocasiones a los American GRAMMY®.

Miami, FL, October 16, 2008.- Oscar D’León, also known as “The Pharaoh of Salsa”, returns with a new production, entitled “Tranquilamente… Tranquilo,” an album featuring nine new tracks that demonstrate, once again, why he remains a major figure of the genre through the times.

The album, recorded entirely in Puerto Rico, was produced by world-renowned Angel “Cuco” Peña and includes collaborations with some of Puerto Rico’s best salsa talents of today, such as Richie Ray, Rafi Torres, Pedro Guzmán, Ceferino Cabán, Cheíto Quiñónez, Luis “El Perico” Ortiz, Elías López and the members of the NG2 band.

The first single off this album, “Ni Frío Ni Calor”, was composed by Oscar D’León himself, and is already playing on major tropical-format radio stations in the United States.
